Robert J. Mongeluzzi, a founder of Saltz Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky, has been a driving force in establishing the Firm's reputation as one of the best personal injury litigation firms in the region. He focuses on construction accidents, electrical injuries, and product liability.

Mr. Mongeluzzi is considered one of the nation's preeminent construction accident attorneys. He has more than 30 recoveries of one million dollars or more in construction cases alone. Highly active in the legal community, Mr. Mongeluzzi is Founder and Chairman of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America's Crane and Aerial Lift Litigation Group and Electrical Accident Group. He currently serves on the Association's Board of Governors and is Vice President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Mongeluzzi was named as one of Philadelphia's top trial lawyers in the March 1999 issue of Philadelphia Magazine, based on a survey of peers and industry leaders. He has taught other lawyers to handle construction accident litigation at virtually every construction accident seminar in the region.

Mr. Mongeluzzi's grandfather and great grandfather were both tragically injured in the workplace, teaching the Mongeluzzis the devastating effects accidents can have, and the value of a skilled lawyer—which helped Mr. Mongeluzzi decide to study law. A 1978 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Mongeluzzi received his J.D. in 1981, from the Fordham University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Law Review, and an L.L.M. cum laude in Trial Advocacy, in 1994, from Temple University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, and the Southern District of New York. Mr. Mongeluzzi is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
